Why are we always concerned about how we look? i mean beautifying the body?We tend to always take care of the body that will be destroyed one day.Why don't u beautify your spirit body?

i think that it is so because of sick world. everywhere is just good looking people and it doesn`t matter that they have no spirit body and God with them... they become to "star" status and that`s all. and it is that way where we need to work :) not to look outside but to look what is inside :) 1 Samuel 16:7 says: "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

you are right TOBI, however it is also good to take care of our body!

I do agree, a lot of us are worried about the way we look and what others think of us. but it is the way we learned to think. in this modern age we live, our intrests go out to things that in theorie does not matter. we were thought to worry about our future, about what others think(and mostly about what non-christians think) etc. we do need to take care of our bodies as a temple of God (1cor6:19;rom12). God knows who you are no matter how you look(1petr3:3)
